Big fan of the small business world and this restaurant is why. Small place in a small town that makes for a great meal stop off the highway. The service is great and you're never left unattended but the real hook is the food. ITS A PARTY IN YOUR MOUTH. They have a creative menu that will leave your mind blown.

Great little place to get a burger and beer. Would recommend to anyone traveling through West Point. For the western burger and a Newcastle my bill was less than $8. Service was great. Lost a star because the burger was a bit over cooked but I will return when I come through again.

Excellent burger. This is a perfect burger joint. They are juicy and full of flavor and you can pick from a list of toppings. Good service.

Good western burger. Nice place to stop along the highway. The fries were served with a little side of chipotle mayo which I wouldn't have asked for but was delighted to have. The restaurant looks like it was converted from an old gas station. Service was prompt and friendly. My husband gives this place a 4 or 4.5 total and said fries were like a 2 (not very crispy is what he says and he suggests salting and double frying them...... Whatever that means) I personally liked the fries.

Unexpected pleasure stopping here with signature burgers and an array of sandwiches and wraps. I had the Topical burger-very tasty.

For me the fries here approach the Platonic ideal. Hand-cut, no seasoning salt, no peanut oil, and not crispy-hard. I would come here just for the fries. The onion rings are variable. Sometimes they are great, sometimes meh. For a thin patty cooked on a flat top this is a good burger. I love the Rooster because I got hooked on one-eyed bacon cheeseburgers in Charlottesville, Va. I make the trip from Columbus as often as I can for a burger & fries at the Twisted Burger and a load of craft beer from the Smokestack.

After picking up some Crooked Letter Mystery Romp at the Smokestack in West Point, hubs and I headed down to Twisted Burger. Only my second or third time here. Hubs ordered the Blue 'Shroom and I went for the Twisted Burger. Both of us chose hand cut fries. The meat is a blend of both beef and pork and had a fantastic sear. The flavor was great- not over seasoned, just quality meat. My patty was stuffed with pepper jack cheese and piled with bacon! Hubby's burger was loaded with sautéed mushrooms and blue cheese- really yummy! Now this was a five-napkin sandwich but soooo delicious! Hubs enjoyed his too! It's also kinda wonderful to be able to order homemade fries. Fresh food just tastes better!! Highly recommend this spot. It's tucked into a converted service station- part of front wall is still garage doors!

Did a pit stop here for lunch while on a trip south. If you decide to go, don't miss it coming down from I-45 because it is easy to do (I did). The place is a repurposed auto shop complete with the old filling pump area (pumps have been removed of course). I had the blue schroom burger with sweet potato fries, which was excellent. Local craft brew was great too. And had some good conversation with the cook, JT. I would not hesitate to stop back in when I'm in town again! You could easily do worse by going to Hardees instead.

I visit North Ms every year during huntin season. Being from South Louisiana I'm spoiled to amazing food. The burgers here were terrific in my opinion. The atmosphere was simple and laid back and I appreciate that. I left one star off due to the appearance of our waitress. I believe everyone has the right to do with themselves as they please but my waitress must have just got a tongue piercing cuz as she was taking our order her tongue constantly came out of her mouth as she played with it. Don't get me wrong, her service was spot on but this was a bit unappetizing. I agree with an earlier review that the stove vent should be upgraded or perhaps turned on. The smoke from the grill actually fills the restaurant leaving you smellin like a burger all day. Don't pass on this burger joint if your around. It's even worth a nasty tongue in your face!ha

My family and I all ordered the Western burger. Yummm. The potato salad and sweet potato fries were good. The fried mushrooms were ok.

Went with my girlfriend after several coworkers in Columbus, MS mentioned how good the place was. The outside is rather unassuming: a converted auto maintenance shop with with two large windowed garage doors forming most of the front wall. There was outdoor seating, and the inside was spacious with an atmosphere that borrowed from its industrial past with a concrete floor and metal girders presenting themselves from the ceiling. Its adornments were youthful, well naturally lit, young staff, simple menu. The owner even came over and asked how everything was a couple of times. You are given a waiter, and food/drinks are brought to you. They served a variety of beer in bottles as well. I had the Western Burger. Thick patty, bacon, cheese, home made BBQ sauce, and jalapeños. It came with fries, and we ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer. It, along with the appetizer, was delivered in a fast-food style basket. The fried mushrooms came in a generous portion and had a simple seasoned breading, nothing to write home about, but not bad either. The burger was well cooked with seasoned meat, and the BBQ sauce was excellent. Probably one of the best restaurant burgers I've had yet, but the flat out winner for the price of $7 including the very good natural cut fries. I would definitely go back for another. Adding up the good impressions I got from the service, food quality, atmosphere, and price, these guys deserve 5 stars.

Really great stop. They serve medium-sized fried burgers with a lot of novelty themes. I had a triple cheese bacon burger because I figured it was the safest choice for a new stop. Patty was cooked well with no hint of pink, but very flavorful and no excess of grease. Bun was lightly steamed and vegetables were fresh and crisp. It reminded me a lot of Memphis' Hueys from years ago before they expanded and IMO the quality dipped. Natural cut fries were blistering hot and thus great. I usually try to avoid these because if the fries sit for very long they get limp and greasy. These were straight out of the fryer and fantastic. Homemade "comeback" sauce which tasted suspiciously familiar to Zaxby's special sauce. Basically just some mayo/chili pepper with maybe a touch of horseradish. Staff was friendly enough but didn't really go out of their way for you. I filled my own drink cup after waiting for a bit too long. Seating is table and chairs with a fairly large bar area. The big winner was the cost - the burger with fries was just $7. I've paid $20 for burgers that didn't measure up to this in metro areas. This stop is definitely worth your time. Edit: Over the last few months they have developed a real ventilation problem - the whole cafe smells like heavy grill smoke and during lunch rush it can almost make your eyes water. The food is still great, but I tend to get it "to go" now.

Best burgers in town by a mile! Really loved the. "Godzilla" , awesome fresh fries with "Come Back" sauce. Get ya some!

Awesome food and decent service but the only problem is this place has a funny odor that clings onto your clothes and skin for hours after you've eaten there. I recommend the red, white, and bleu burger. If you get fries, be sure to try the sweet potato ones. Happy eating, you fatties.

I checked out this place with a buddy while we were in West Point, MS visiting some friends. We all liked our burgers. I tried The Big Island Burger. Teriyaki, Jack Cheese, and Grilled Pineapple on a burger. It was a really good burger, and the topping made for a new take on an American classic. **** The downside was the fries. They appear to cut them in house which is great, but their frying technique leaves them soft and wrinkly on the outside. ** The guy running the place gave us some of what I believe he called his "Come Back sauce" because it's supposed to make you want to comeback for more. It was okay. Pretty sure it was just mayo with some ground chili pepper. Nothing too exciting given that I like to whip up new sauces, but cool to see a guy try and make his own special sauce. A relatively new restaurant, and hopefully they'll find their way after being open for a while. Gotta get those fries right, man!
